Then, the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren), Khufu’s brother, dating back to the 26th century BC, and the Pyramid of Menkaure (Mycerinus), Pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty, known in its time as “The Divine Pyramid.” Visit also the Great Sphinx — a magnificent statue with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion — and the Valley Temple. Lunch at a typical local restaurant.
