Begin your tour with a visit to the High Dam, built in 1960, one of Egypt’s greatest modern engineering achievements. It was designed to control the annual Nile floods, providing water for agriculture and domestic use, while also generating hydroelectric power. The dam created Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world, which played a key role in Egypt’s economic and social development.
Continue to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, located on Philae Island. Due to the construction of the High Dam, the temple was relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from flooding. Surrounded by water, it remains one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, both for its setting and architectural design.
Transfer to the cruise ship in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Embarkation. Lunch on board. Sail to Kom Ombo. Dinner and overnight on board.

Its location on the banks of the Nile adds to its charm and historical significance. Sail to Edfu. Lunch on board.
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Built between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic period, this temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon god who avenged his father Osiris by defeating his uncle Seth. The walls are beautifully decorated with reliefs depicting scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology. Sail to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.

The vast complex, dedicated primarily to Amun but also to Mut and Khonsu (forming the Theban Triad), grew over many dynasties, symbolizing both religious and political power.
Continue to the Temple of Luxor, built during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the Theban Triad as well. This temple was the main site for the Opet Festival, which celebrated the divine power of the pharaoh. The temple was connected to Karnak by a grand avenue lined with sphinxes, forming an impressive ceremonial route. Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.

Day 7
Day 7: Disembarkation – Valley of the Kings – Deir el-Bahari – Colossi of Memnon
Breakfast on board. Disembark. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the main burial site of pharaohs from the New Kingdom period (around 1550–1070 BC). The valley contains over 60 tombs, including that of Tutankhamun, discovered nearly intact in 1922. The walls of these tombs are decorated with colorful scenes from the Book of the Dead, illustrating the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife.
Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), one of the most unique and impressive temples in Egypt. Built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs, the temple is renowned for its elegant terraced design that blends harmoniously into the cliffs of the Theban mountains.
Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple. Standing about 18 meters tall, these statues became famous in ancient times for the mysterious “singing” sound one emitted at dawn, believed to be the voice of the hero Memnon by the Greeks. Today, they remain one of the most iconic monuments on the West Bank of Luxor.
