Day 3: Flight to Luxor – Karnak Temple – Luxor Temple – Embarkation
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Arrival and assistance at Luxor Airport.
Visit the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the most influential religious centers of ancient Egypt. Located in ancient Thebes (modern Luxor), this vast complex was primarily dedicated to Amun, the king of the gods, as well as to his consort Mut and their son Khonsu, forming the Theban triad. Over centuries, Karnak was expanded and beautified by successive pharaohs, becoming a symbol of Egypt’s religious and political power.
Next, visit the Luxor Temple, one of the most exquisite architectural masterpieces of ancient Egypt. Dedicated to the Theban triad—Amun, Mut, and Khonsu—it was a key site for the Opet Festival, which celebrated the divine power of the pharaoh. The temple was connected to Karnak by a long ceremonial avenue lined with sphinxes.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings – Temple of Hatshepsut – Colossi of Memnon
Breakfast on board. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the main burial site of pharaohs during the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). Located near ancient Thebes, this valley contains more than 60 tombs belonging to kings and nobles. The tombs were carved into the rock to protect them from looting and are decorated with magnificent reliefs and paintings illustrating the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife. The most famous tomb is that of Tutankhamun, discovered almost intact in 1922.
Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, one of the most remarkable and unique temples in Egypt. Built for Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty, it features elegant terraced architecture that blends harmoniously into the cliffs of the mountain. The temple celebrates the reign and achievements of one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs and stands out for its elegance and symbolic design.
Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, each about 18 meters high. Originally guarding the entrance to his mortuary temple, these colossal figures became famous in Greco-Roman times for the mysterious sound one of them emitted at dawn. Return to the cruise ship. Lunch on board while sailing toward Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Visit the Temple of Sobek and Horus, a unique double temple with perfect symmetry, dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god associated with fertility and the power of the Nile, and Horus the Elder, the falcon god.
