Then visit the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre), dating back to the 26th century BC, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus (Menkaure), known in ancient times as “The Divine Pyramid.”

Day 4: Flight to Aswan – Transfer to Cruise – High Dam – Unfinished Obelisk – Philae Temple

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and transfer to Cairo Airport to board your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and assisted by our local representative.

Begin your tour with a visit to the High Dam of Aswan, built in 1960 — one of the most important engineering achievements of modern Egypt. It was constructed to control the annual flooding of the Nile, secure irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power. The dam also created Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes, which has been vital to Egypt’s development.

Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient granite quarries of Aswan. This enormous monument, carved directly from the bedrock but left incomplete due to cracks, would have been the largest obelisk ever erected. It is attributed to Queen Hatshepsut and provides fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian stoneworking techniques.

Continue to the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis — one of the most beautiful temples of ancient Egypt.

Originally located on Philae Island, it was relocated to nearby Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam to protect it from submersion under Lake Nasser. The temple remains a breathtaking site surrounded by water. Transfer to your Nile cruise in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Embarkation and lunch on board. Sail to Kom Ombo. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 5

Day 5: Kom Ombo Temple – Edfu Temple

Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Sobek, also known as the Kom Ombo Temple, unique for its perfectly symmetrical design. It is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and the Nile’s strength, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. The temple’s twin layout features two identical entrances, halls, and sanctuaries — symbolizing divine duality. Its riverside setting makes it an architectural and historical gem.

Sail to Edfu. Lunch on board.
Take a horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus, it was a major cult center where the god was worshipped as the avenger of his father Osiris. Built during the Ptolemaic period (237–57 BC), the temple’s walls are covered with detailed inscriptions depicting mythological scenes of Horus’s triumph over Set.

Continue sailing toward Luxor. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 6

Day 6: Karnak Temple – Luxor Temple

Breakfast on board. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the most significant religious centers of ancient Egypt, dedicated mainly to the god Amun — the king of the gods. Over centuries, successive pharaohs expanded and embellished this vast complex of sanctuaries, obelisks, and colossal columns, making it a powerful symbol of both divine and royal authority.

Continue to Luxor Temple, constructed during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the Theban triad: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The temple was a major site for the annual Opet Festival, celebrating the divine connection between the pharaoh and the gods. It was linked to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes forming a ceremonial path.

Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 7

Day 7: Disembarkation – Valley of the Kings – Deir El Bahari – Colossi of Memnon

    Breakfast on board and disembarkation.

Begin your day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). Hidden within the mountains near ancient Thebes (modern Luxor), it contains over 60 tombs of pharaohs and nobles. Among the most famous is that of Tutankhamun, discovered almost intact in 1922. The walls of the tombs are adorned with vivid scenes depicting the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari — one of the most remarkable architectural masterpieces of ancient Egypt. Built in terraces that blend harmoniously into the cliffs, it honors the reign and achievements of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in Egyptian history.

Then visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Each stands about 18 meters tall and once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple. In ancient times, one of the statues was said to “sing” at dawn, a phenomenon that fascinated Greek and Roman travelers.
