Day 3: Flight to Luxor – Transfer to Cruise – Karnak & Luxor Temples

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet our representative.

Start your visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the most influential religious centers of ancient Egypt. Located in Thebes (modern Luxor), this vast complex of temples, sanctuaries, and pillars was primarily dedicated to the god Amun, king of the gods, along with his consort Mut and their son Khonsu — forming the Theban triad. Karnak evolved and expanded through several reigns, becoming a symbol of Egypt’s religious and political power.

Continue to the Temple of Luxor, built during the New Kingdom and dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The temple was a key site for religious festivals, especially the Opet Festival, which celebrated the divine role of the Pharaoh. It was connected to Karnak by an avenue lined with sphinxes, forming a grand ceremonial processional way.

Transfer to your Nile cruise ship by private air-conditioned vehicle. Embarkation. Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board in Luxor.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 4

Day 4: Valley of the Kings – Temple of Hatshepsut – Colossi of Memnon

Breakfast on board. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the main burial site of the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). This ancient necropolis houses over 60 tombs carved into the rock, built to protect the resting places of Egypt’s rulers, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. The walls of the tombs are adorned with stunning reliefs and vivid paintings illustrating the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari — one of the most remarkable and elegant temples in Egypt. Built for Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty, it stands out for its unique terraced architecture blending seamlessly into the surrounding cliffs. It celebrates the reign and divine birth of one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs.

Next, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Each stands about 18 meters high and originally guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple. These monumental figures became famous in antiquity for the mysterious sound one of them emitted at dawn, believed to be the “singing” of Memnon. Return to the cruise. Lunch on board as you sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 5

Day 5: Edfu Temple – Kom Ombo Temple

Breakfast on board. Take a horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon god, it dates back to the Ptolemaic period (237–57 BC) and features magnificent carvings depicting Horus’s victory over his uncle Set. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.

Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a rare and symmetrical double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and the Nile, and Horus the Elder, the falcon god. Its dual design — with twin entrances, halls, and sanctuaries — symbolizes balance and harmony. The temple’s stunning riverside setting makes it one of the most scenic sites along the Nile. Sail on to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.

    Meals Included :
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 6

Day 6: Aswan High Dam – Unfinished Obelisk – Philae Temple – Felucca Ride on the Nile

Breakfast on board. Begin your day with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering built in 1960 to control the Nile’s annual floods, generate hydroelectric power, and create Lake Nasser — one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.

Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the ancient granite quarries of Aswan. If completed, it would have been the largest obelisk ever erected. Attributed to Queen Hatshepsut, it offers fascinating insights into ancient stone-carving techniques.

Then, visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis — the goddess of love, magic, and motherhood. Originally located on Philae Island, it was relocated to nearby Agilkia Island to save it from flooding after the construction of the High Dam. The temple’s graceful architecture and serene island setting make it one of Egypt’s most beautiful monuments.

Later, enjoy a felucca sail around Elephantine Island — a peaceful and authentic experience on a traditional Egyptian sailboat, offering scenic views of Aswan and its surroundings. Return to the cruise. Dinner and overnight on board.
