Itinerary:

  • Day 1

    Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

    Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and assisted by our tour manager. Transfer to your hotel in a modern, private, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Your tour manager will accompany you to help with the check-in process and ensure a smooth start to your trip. Overnight in Cairo.

  • Day 2

    Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Sphinx – Egyptian Museum – Overnight Train to Luxor

    After breakfast at your hotel, meet our representative for an unforgettable visit to the Giza Plateau, home to Egypt’s most iconic monuments.

    Explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Admire the Great Sphinx, with its lion’s body and royal head, part of Khafre’s funerary complex, and visit the Valley Temple.

    Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant before heading to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, near Tahrir Square — home to the world’s most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the legendary treasures of King Tutankhamun. (Access to the Mummies Room is available at an additional cost.)

    In the evening, transfer to the Giza train station for your overnight sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner and breakfast are included onboard.

  • Day 3

    Day 3: Arrival in Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples

    Breakfast onboard the train. Upon arrival in Luxor, meet and assist at the station, then transfer to your hotel to leave your luggage before starting your day of exploration.

    Visit the Luxor Temple, an ancient masterpiece connected to the Temple of Karnak by a grand avenue lined with sphinxes — many of which have recently been uncovered.

    Continue to Karnak Temple, one of Egypt’s most magnificent and expansive sites. Dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, Karnak served as a major center of worship and power in ancient times. Its massive columns, halls, and courtyards bear witness to more than 2,000 years of construction by various pharaohs.

    Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

  • Day 4

    Day 4: Valley of the Kings – Temple of Hatshepsut– Colossi of Memnon – Overnight Train to Cairo

    After breakfast, begin your day with a tour of the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. These rock-cut tombs were built to hide the burial sites from grave robbers after the failures of the pyramid burials.

    Next, visit Deir el-Bahari, where you’ll see the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first great female ruler. The temple stands majestically against towering cliffs and showcases incredible architecture and reliefs.

    End the tour with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guarding his lost mortuary temple for more than 3,000 years.

    In the evening, transfer to the Luxor train station for your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo, with dinner and breakfast included onboard.

    Day 5: Arrival in Cairo – Day at Leisure

    Enjoy breakfast onboard before arriving at Giza train station. You’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Cairo in a private, deluxe, air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace.

    Day 6: Alexandria Sightseeing (Fort Qaitbay – Catacombs – Library – Pompey’s Pillar)

    After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the beautiful coastal city of Alexandria, Egypt’s second capital.

    Visit the Fortress of Qaitbay, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

    Explore the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, an impressive Roman-era burial complex blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art and architecture.

    Continue to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern reincarnation of the Great Library of Alexandria, designed to revive the spirit of knowledge and culture that defined the ancient city.

    Finally, visit Pompey’s Pillar, a massive granite column built in honor of Emperor Diocletian around 300 AD, marking the site of the ancient Serapeum Temple.

    Lunch will be served at a quality local restaurant before returning to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
